Ate breakfast at the Glidden House with the folks. I experimented with adding some hot chocolate mix to my yogurt. It worked well! Next time, however, I'll do it with plain yogurt instead of blueberry.

After breakfast, we retired to the Francis Kavanaugh Glidden suite (not the usual Ida Grasselli Glidden suite due to a pungent refrigerator mishap) and spent some time together. I stretch the truth a bit: I quickly found my way to the bed and slept while the other Schlairs talked. My sister is in a tough spot with medical school right now and she needed to talk it out. I think this is the real reason my parents came to visit.

Before they left, we traded music. They brought me several CDs (which I will encode into MP3), and I lent them several of mine. My parents got me going on classical music when I was a wee boy. Thank you parents! We'll trade back when I'm home for Thanksgiving.

They left just in time for me to go play in the Phi Kap playoff soccer game against Phi Psi. We didn't have Frank (our best soccer player), so our hard fight left us with a loss. I ran my relatively skinny buttocks off and made some plays. Sometimes I wish I'd kept playing soccer instead of switching to football in high school. Then I remember how much I love football.

Chapter meeting was held in the afternoon due to Boo at the Zoo. I escaped without being assessed points this week! Furthermore, I argued my way out of two of the four I was given last week! I suspect I am still the points leader, though.

We had a lively discussion about budgeting money. In addition to the money allotted his committee, our house stereo chairperson has started the Phi Kap DJ service and has been bringing in money. For some reason, some people think the stereo committee is not free to do with that money as they see fit. I don't understand it at all.
